

He was born October 2, 1933 in Taylorville to Emmett E. and Helen (Zenor) Wacaser. On March 5, 1960 he married Norma Roegner in Normal.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Chuck taught mathematics in the public schools for five years and taught programming at IBM until he retired. He was a square dance caller for many years throughout the region. He enjoyed music and playing the piano. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; his children, Thomas (Jennifer) Wacaser, William (Carol) Wacaser, Richard (Jamie) Wacaser, and Rebecca (Juerg) Binggeli; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher, Valerie, Michael, Stephanie, Laura, David, Brian, Molly, Erin, Charlie, Micayla, Ruth, John, Alyssa, and Noah; his great-grandson, Kenton; and his brother, Duane Wacaser.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, March 21 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be at 10am on Friday, March 22, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
