Daniel Leonard – Family and friends mourn the loss of Daniel Ronald Leonard who passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2010. Born November 22, 1953 to Ronald and Virginia Leonard, Dan had recently retired after a long career with the U.S. Postal Service and was looking forward to the next stage of his life. Dan enjoyed life and was an avid sports fan. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor.
Dan is survived by his daughter Abigail, special friend Cheryl Schmidt, father, sister Kathryn Rieb, brother David Leonard, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and many friends. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Prezek) Leonard, and his mother.
Memorial visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wed August 25th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
