Elaine A. Reich

She was born March 2, 1923, in Chicago to Frank and Elsie (Moeller) Anderstrom. On September 6, 1947, she married Richard Reich at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Chicago.

She resided in Chicago until 1994 when she and Rich moved to Crystal Lake. While in Chicago she attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Group. Since moving to Crystal Lake she was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she also sang in the choir. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving children, Janet Reich, Tom Reich, and Allen (Heather) Reich; her cherished grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, and Abby; her dear sister, Gerri Davidson; and her loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rich; her parents; and her siblings, Lester Anderstrom and Shirley Hugo.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 8pm on Thursday, September 29, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Friday, September 30, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake.

Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
