Hollie C. Schuermann Fuentes

CRYSTAL LAKE – Hollie C. Fuentes (Schuermann), 30, of Crystal Lake died unexpectedly Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Centegra Hospital – Woodstock. She was born Jan. 2, 1980, to Ronald and Marcia (Behrns) Schuermann. She lived in Crystal Lake all her life and attended Crystal Lake Central High School. On June 15, 2001 she married Ramon Fuentes in Crystal Lake. She worked as a sales associate for Sams Club in Crystal Lake. She was active with the Crystal Lake Park District, helping with the little league refreshment stand and in the extend time program. She will be remembered for her bright smile, happy nature and her outgoing and generous personality. She was a positive person and looked for the good in everyone and always was there to lend a hand.

She is survived by her husband, Ramon; her son, Ramon III; her mother, Marcia Behrns; her mother-in-law, Etelvina Fuentes; her brothers, Ron (Vicki) Schuermann and Jim (Angie) Schuermann; her brothers-in-law, Rolando (Hortencia), Ricardo, Rosendo and Rodolfo; her sisters-in-law, Marta (Roger) and Juana (Fred); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Schuermann.

The visitation will be from 3 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
