She was born March 19, 1948 in McHenry to John and Evelyn Carter.
Janice was a resident of Sheltered Village for the past 12 years. She was also active at both Pioneer Center and Rail in Woodstock. She was a very happy person that always had a smile on her face. Everyone loved her, she was very funny, pleasant to be around, and always loved to eat.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Rev. Janie Long-Carter and all of her friends at Sheltered Village.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Carter.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30pm on Thursday, July 25 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The memorial service will be at 3:30pm.
