She was born January 16, 1931 in Chicago to Alexander and Lucille (Plash) Morrow. On February 23, 1957 she married Harry W. Obermeier in Chicago.
Marilyn enjoyed volunteering with friends at Little Christopher's and at the Raue Center. She liked to golf and play cards. Her time spent with family and grandchildren brought her great joy. She also loved the various activities she was involved in with her friends at The Fountains.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Steve (Laurie) Obermeier, Tom (Annette) Obermeier, and Sue (Tom) Forsythe; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Andy), Michael (Ashley), Ali, Amanda, Samantha, and Alex; and her great-grandchildren, Luke, Emma, Kinley, and Brooks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and her parents.
There will be a memorial visitation from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, August 4 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. There will be a prayer service at Noon.
