Mary Ellen Bonsignore, 89, of Channahon passed away June 1, 2017 at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Crystal Lake. She was born on May 12, 1928 in Appleton, WI to Joseph and Grace (O’Neil) Graper. On August 16, 1958 she married Patrick Bonsignore. Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, Patrick; her son, James (Amy) Bonsignore; her grandchildren, Ara and David Bonsignore; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Graper; her niece, Ann Manion; and her nephew, Michael (Patty) Graper. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia, and her brother, James Graper. Visitation will be at 9am with the funeral Mass to follow at 10am on Saturday, June 24, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 24500 S Navajo Dr., Channahon.
