

He was born July 9, 1945 in Ellsworth, MI to Francis and Dona Finch. On October 14, 1995 he married Mary Miller in Arlington Heights.
Nate was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He liked going to auctions and was a John Deere enthusiast. He enjoyed tinkering in his pole barn and was recently working on restoring a ’63 Ford with his close friend, Scott. He also loved his dog, Mandy, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Paul (Dawn) Finch, Kevin (Lynn) Finch, and Eric (Vicky) Finch; his grandchildren, Kari Sue, Dakota, Hana, Krystal, Angel, Justin, and Emily; his siblings, Jay (Mary) Finch, Marilyn Finch, Linda (Jim) Orr, and Eleanor (Dave) Stephenson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ronald; his second wife, Peggy; and his granddaughter, Hailey.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5pm on Saturday, November 22 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. There will be a time of sharing at 4pm.
Interment will be private.
