Rose M. Horne, 94, passed away on August 9, 2019. She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Robert Horne. She was the loving mother of Sandra (the late Alois) Prettenhofer, Pamela (the late Jack) Hamilton, Anina (Robert) Nelson, Michael (Linda) Jensen, Carl “Skip” (Sara) Jensen, Greg (Donna) Jensen, and Randall Jensen (Tammy Holloway).

Rose was the proud grandmother of Susan Collins,Barbara (Jeff) Johns, Paul Mahon (Marcia), Timothy (Kris) Hamilton, Bonnie (Randell) Gillette, Victoria (Jerry) Mortimer, Danielle (William) Escudero, Heather (Nelson) Velazquez, Ernest (Juanita) Nelson, Jennifer (Mark) Evins, Joshua (Serenity) Jensen, and Matthew (Kristen) Jensen.

She was the cherished great-grandmother of Shea (Liz) Russell, Emberly Russell (Austin), Jeffrey Johns (Rachel), Jennifer Johns (Mike), Alexis Mahon, Brianna Mahon, Mitchell Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton, Daniel Hamilton, Randy II (Megan) Gillette, Kristi (Aaron) Conrad, Eric (Shadain) Gillette, Kailey Mortimer, Richard Mortimer, William Escudero, Blake Nelson, Brendan Escudero, Nevin Velazquez, Cain Velazquez, Kalani Rodriguez, Kiersten, Matthew and Olivia Perez, Madison and Jacob Jensen, Kanon Jensen, and the late Corey Russell.

Great-great grandmother of Destiny and Karson Gillette, Brooke, Serenity, and Jackson Conrad, and Zayden Mortimer. Dear sister of the late Marge Nelson, Caroline Hintzelman, and Carl Hintzelman. Loving aunt to many, second mother to: Caroline Medlinger and friend to many.

Visitation at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 West Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014 on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 11am -1pm, where a Funeral Service will begin at 1pm. Burial to follow at McHenry County Memorial Park, 11201 Lake Ave., Woodstock, IL.
