Whitney Rush Hayes, 27, of Crystal Lake died after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Centegra Hospital – McHenry. She was born November 30, 1986 in Barrington to Jack and Rosalyn (Rush) Hayes. She graduated from Prairie Ridge High School class of 2005.
She was very artistic, full of life, had a spirited soul and was a compassionate, caring and loving friend. She enjoyed children and worked with children with special needs and as a nanny. She was an animal lover, especially her cat Wonka.
She is survived by her mother Rosalyn Hayes; sister Natalie Hayes; aunts, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Jack Hayes, Uncle Ed and her grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm on Tues, March 18 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake.
