

William P. (Billy) Miller, 58, of McHenry, Illinois passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, at his home. He was born on December 5, 1965, in Woodstock, Illinois to the late William and Patricia (Henn) Miller.
Billy was a graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School, in Woodstock, IL, where he was active in student council. He also served as the student-manager for Marian’s 1983 State Championship football team. In 1990, Billy graduated from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, with a B.A. in Public Administration. Following graduation, he worked briefly for Kemper Insurance and the Visa Corporation.
An active member of the Knight of Columbus McHenry Council 1288 for many years, and the McHenry County Young Republicans, Billy was passionate about his hometown and generously volunteered his time to help in various local community service organizations throughout his life. He possessed a unique ability to meet new people and immediately strike up long-time relationships, and he religiously reached out to stay in touch with friends and acquaintances from all walks of his life.
Billy is survived by his wife, Lidia Golden, of McHenry (IL), and his brothers Mark Miller of Palmyra, VA, Danny (Debra) Miller of Bristol, WI, and Michael (Betsy) Miller of Nashville, TN. Also, his sister-in-law, Lisa Miller, of Pingree Grove, IL, his nieces Kislia (Alex) Lansing of Richmond, VA, and Shelby Miller of Bristol, WI, and nephews Charles (Emily) Miller and Patrick (Heather) Miller of Albany, NY, and Corey Miller of Bristol, WI.
Services to celebrate Billy’s life will be held on February 10, 2024 from 9am until 1030am at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL 60050. Funeral Mass to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy's name can be made to the family to support them during this difficult time.
