He was born October 27, 1941 in Ayer, MA to Charlie and Phyllis (Vollrath) Roach. On April 7, 1990 he married Jean Stoerp.
Bill retired in 2004 from John Crane Packing in Crystal Lake. He enjoyed trucking, horse races, and reading the daily paper.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jean (Stoerp) Roach; his children, Marjorie (Stan) Parfrey, Phyllis Roach, Delores Roach; his grandchildren, Melissa, John, Samantha, Shane, and Larry; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Mary) Stoerp, Fred (Georgia) Stoerp, Don (Barb) Stoerp, Mary Stoerp, Vernon Stoerp, Ken (Judy) Stoerp, Jerry (Sally Stoerp), Roger (Sue Stoerp), Helen Schuerr and many extended family members.
