Mrs. Barbara Joann Smith of Steele, Alabama passed away on November 1, 2010 at her residence at the age of 67. She was born on December 24, 1942 in Cullman Alabama to Lonnie Jake and Clorah Marks Godfrey Sr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cobb Halmark officiating. Interment will be in Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by: Husband: James R. Smith of Steele Alabama, Sons: Anthony Smith of Gadsden, Alabama, Jeffery Smith of Steele, Alabama, Foster Son: Brian Godfrey of Steele, Alabama, Sisters: Peggy Keller of Good Hope, Alabama, Jellithia “Sissy” Dye of Hanceville, Alabama, Brothers: Harold Godfrey of Bremen, Alabama, Aaron Godfrey of Vinemont, Alabama, Rickey Godfrey of Bremen, Alabama. Visitation will be on Wednesday November 3, 2010 from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home.
