Ms. Christina Diane Monroe

Funeral Services for Ms. Christina Diane Monroe, age 29 of Vinemont, will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Addington Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Garrett Taylor officiating.

Ms. Monroe was born in Birmingham on November 5, 1984 to James Terry and Robbin Diane Spence Monroe. She passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Christina had worked for the past three years as the receptionist at Sleep Inn in Cullman, and in her free time, going to yard sales and being a “buyer” was her passion. She is well known for her wonderful cooking, but above all she loved her family and was a super mom.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, J.B. “Paw” Sandlin and George & Sara Spence.

Survivors include her Parents – James Terry & Robbin Diane Spence Monroe; her Fiancé – Robert Allen Barnett; two 2 – Daughters – Bailey Lashay Barnett & Chloe Grace Barnett; one Son – Dalton Baylee Newsome; one Sister – Megan Victoria Lind Monroe; two 2 - Brothers – Jason Terry Monroe & James Eric Monroe; her Grandmother – Jeanette “Meme” Sandlin; two 2 – Nieces – Autumn Mae Monroe & Brookelynn Makenzie Eaves; and five 5 – Nephews – Logan Jay Monroe, Riley Terry Monroe, William Taylan Eaves, Cayden Ryan Eaves and William David Eaves.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
