David Eugene Humphrey, 81, of Cullman passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Nebraska April 4, 1933, to Raymond and Minnie Baker Humphrey. He served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps and 10 years in the United States Army before retiring.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Willis Hill officiating, with interment in Fairview Baptist Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Pike Humphrey; three sons, David Butler, Chris (Rita) Butler and Sam (Shea) Butler; a sister, Betty Smith; a brother, Norman (Ruby) Humphrey; two grandchildren, Megan Butler and Mike (Tina) Butler; and a great-grandchild, Olivia Butler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cullman Caring For Kids Food Bank or Cullman Oncology Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
