Ernest Carl Graveman

Funeral Services for Ernest Carl Graveman, age 56 of Cullman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, with Father Mike Oswell officiating.

Ernest was born in Cullman on October 21, 1957 to the late John & Helen Schaffers Graveman. He passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. He was the owner of Brickyard Meat Processing Inc. At a young age, Ernest served in US Army traveling the world. While stationed at Fort Monmouth he met Carol Jones, who became the love of his life. The rest of his life he spent doing what he loved, working with his hands, loving his family, and making new friends where ever he went. His parents and one sister, Helena preceed him in death.

Survivors include his Wife of 33 years - Carol Ann Jones Graveman; a Daughter - Tamara (Rhody) Robinson; 2 - Sons - Paul Graveman & Nathan (Lauren) Graveman, his first Granddaughter (on the way) Lydia Claire Robinson; 3 - Sisters - Pat, Theresa & Rita; 4 - Brothers - Frank, Louis, Raymond & Jerry; and a host of other family & friends.

The family will receive friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. with Father Patrick Egan, O.S.B. officiating.
