Funeral Services for Mr. Southerland will be Monday at Moss Service Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM with Interment to follow at Cullman Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM

Mr. Sotherland was born on March 28, 1932 in Sand Mountain, AL to his parents Jake and Dorsia. They eventually moved to Lincoln, AL where he attended and graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Intrepid. Upon leaving the military he resided in Talladega, AL for many years. He spent the majority of his career in the automotive industry beginning with Colonial Chevrolet in Talladega, AL. He pursued his dream of owning his own car lot Rex's Auto Sales in Cullman, AL until his retirement in 2000.

Mr. Sotherland is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Dorsia Sotherland and brother Robert Sotherland.

He is survived by his wife Faye Sotherland of 37years, children Paul (Cinna) Sotherland, Terry (Mark) Vaughan, Ronnie Eubanks; grandchildren Rex Anderson, Matt Sotherland, Katie Sotherland, Jody Eubanks, Ryan Eubanks; great grandchildren.
