Essie Marie Edge Rowland of Baileyton Alabama passed away on May 11, 2017 at her residence at the age of 81. She was born on June 5, 1935 in Oklahoma to James Raymond and Ruby Teresa Mitchell White. She is preceded in death by: Husband: Claude Thomas Edge Jr., parents, Brother: Vernon White, Husband: Bobby Rowland.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Fairview with Dr. David Chambers officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery. Mrs. Rowland will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Survivors are: Daughter: Vicki (Ray) Boyd, Sons: Randall (Margo) Edge, Gary (Louise) Edge, Tommy (Sandy) Edge, Michael Edge, Barry (Debbie) Edge, Joel (Tammy) Edge, Danny (Annette) Edge, Clinton (Sherrie) Edge, Jason (Amy) Edge, Sisters: Shirley (James) Ennis, Betty (Jerry) Williams, Brothers: Charles (Cleo) White, James (Mary) White, Jimmy (Linda) White, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
