

Flora Belle Howard Graham, 99, of Cullman passed away at her home on May 20 surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services will be held Tuesday May 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Cullman City Cemetery Moss Service Directing. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
Flora was born June 30, 1917 in the Baldwin Community of Cullman County. She grew up on a farm with a loving family. She married her husband Norman on May 17, 1941 just weeks before he entered the Army during WWII. After her husband was discharged from the Army, they moved back to Cullman and would become pioneers in the local poultry industry. They provided eggs to Winn-Dixie stores, bakeries and restaurants in Birmingham in the 50s through the 70s. After retiring from farming, Flora and Norman sold their Trimble road farm to the City of Cullman which later became Industrial Park III.
Flora was active in the First United Methodist Church, cub scout den mother, PTA, Young at Heart Club and Cullman Regional Medical Center Auxiliary(pink ladies). She also enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, cooking, quilt making , reading and a competitive game of Rook.
She was preceded in death her husband: Norman S. Graham, parents: Emma Anne Quattlebaum and Robert Glenn Howard, Sisters: Carrie Parker, Audrey Pedlow, Mattie Oden, and Bernice Bynum, brothers: Bolden Howard, Hugh Howard and Dave Howard.
Survivors include sons:.Stanley Wayne (Donna) Graham and Michael James (Dwynell) Graham :grandchildren: Laura Graham, Justin Graham, Maggie Graham, Mikey (Lindsey) Graham, Chris Graham and Matt (Catherine) Graham.
