He is survived by his wife, Adora Nell Rodgers Patterson; sons: Chris Patterson (Ginny) and Chad Patterson (Autumn); sister, Linda J. Seay; and grandchildren: Blake Patterson, Ty Patterson, JC Patterson and Max Patterson.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Mr. Patterson’s life will be Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at New Freedom Church. Burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery.
