Mr. Preiss was born May 9, 1931 to Alvin and Frieda Preiss.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 23, 2015 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor John Bussman officiating.
He will lie in state at the Church from 12:00 until 1:00. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday at Moss Service from 5:30 until 9:00 PM
He is survived by Daughters: Lucinda Smith, Belinda (Keith) Smith, Brenda (Rick) Brown and Dorenda Terry, Son: Frederick (Karen) Preiss Jr., Aunt: Freda Thompson, Sister: Elizabeth Smith, Brother: Alvin (Shirley) Preiss Jr., Grandchildren: Amber (Landon) Lyle, Zachary, Zane and Kaleb Smith, Hillary, Trent and Erick Preiss and Preiss Terry. Great Grandchildren: Avery and Andrew Lyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Wife: Wilma Preiss and Grandchild: Asha Brown.
