Harold Dean Godfrey

Harold Godfrey, age 80, passed away on May 15, 2026. Born on May 9, 1946, Harold’s life was marked by steadfast devotion to those he loved and a quiet strength that shaped the family around him. A resident of Bremen, Alabama, he will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by all who knew him.

Harold is survived by his children, Dewaine Godfrey (Gina), Chris Godfrey (Julia), and Misty Milam (Kenneth); Grandchildren Caleb Godfrey, Ashton, Elijah, and Jacob Milam, Alyssia Godfrey, Elin Faith Godfrey, Chelsea Pertile, Devyn Taylor, Great Grandchildren: Maddie, Lucas, Dawson,and by his sister, Jellithia (Sissy) Dye, and brother, Aaron Godfrey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Jake Godfrey; his mother, Clorah Francis Godfrey; his sisters, Peggy Keller, Virginia Petterson, and Barbara Smith; and his brothers, Lonnie Jake Godfrey JR and Ricky Dale Godfrey. He is also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends.

Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave Northwest, Cullman, AL 350555827, on May 19, 2026, 11:30am Until 1:00pm with funeral following the the chapel. A Committal Service will follow to at Sandlin Chapel Cemetery, 362 Co Rd 57, Bremen, AL 35033
