My Best Friend
My Brother from another mother.
Praying for the family.

I was up at Herman’s one day and we were talking about moving a 16x80 mobile home for Benny and Herman said he can move it. I laughed as he pulled it like a pro with a 1 ton truck. I’m going to miss him he was like a brother. 
Herman was a good guy and were going to miss him. 

There are so many memories of our friendship, it is hard to share just one. Herman was one of a kind. He gave me advice that will last a lifetime. To his sons, you need to know that you were the joy of his life. Every weekend phone call he would talk about how much he loved y'all. For his brothers and sister it was a joy for me to hear stories about your childhood. I pray God brings each of you comfort and understanding.  Ray, thank you for introducing me to your friend. Because of knowing him I now know what a once in a lifetime friendship is. I'll never forget you Herman, you will always be loved and missed dearly.

I remember when you used to come to Mom and Dad's and we would get in the truck and we would ride down the road together and we would come to your house and we would just sit and talk and it was a lot of fun I'm going to miss our conversations with one another you could always make me laugh  and that smile you always had on your face . you where so full of life and you lived life to the fullest I'm always going to miss you

I am so sorry to hear about Herman always like relatives and was a great friend l sure miss seeing you when l was at the tobacco store before I left there and miss when we all was young at  my cousins the Collins at Rays house before Bob passed away had good times loved your family and will miss seeing you at the cemetery where our folks are buried RlP Herman good man

He was ALWAYS ready to help.  He had a great sense of humor.  Thanks for all your help years ago.  I hadn't seen him in a while, but I know he will be missed.  See you on the other side, Herman.   Tell Jackie I miss her. 

He was the sweetest man. He would give his shirt off his back for anyone. He always had something good to say about everyone no matter the situation. He had the best smile. Gonna be missed for sure. 

Live down from the farm and he would blow the horn everytime just to say hi. Super nice man. Gonna miss that hello eveyday.
