

Mrs. Ivalene Rose Shoemake McMinn of Logan Alabama passed away on May 18, 2015 at Woodland Village Health Care and Rehab at the age of 83. She was born in Cullman on August 1, 1931 to James William and Bertha Viola Bates Shoemake. Mrs. McMinn worked in the lunchroom at Logan School for 30 plus years. She was a longtime member at Logan Baptist Church and at Sardis Baptist Church at Trimble. She loved to crochet . She loved her flower gardens and she was a wonderful role model for her children, grand and great grandchildren and anyone that knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband: James Willard McMinn, Parents, Brothers: Leldon and Elwin Lee Shoemake.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Delwin Kilgo and Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery at Trimble.
Survivors are: Daughters: Linda Lindsey of Logan, Peggy (Danny) Johnson of Crane Hill, Son: Gary (Debra) McMinn of Cullman, Sister: Deloris (Billy Bradford of Cullman, Brothers: Delane (Sue) Shoemake of Vinemont, Aaron (Carlene) Shoemake of Oneonta, Five Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Moss Funeral Home on Wednesday, She is preceded in death by her husband: James Willard McMinn, Parents, Brothers: Leldon and Elwin Lee Shoemake.May 20, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
