Funeral Services for Mr. James Lawayne Nix, age 82 of Hartselle, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, with Pastor John Ninke officating.

Mr. Nix was born on October 24, 1931 in Cullman to the late James Newton & Luva Mae Rigsby Nix. He passed away at Cullman Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 2, 2013. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked in the Army Civil Service as an engineer.
Survivors include, his Wife - Margaret Ann Snow Nix; one Daughter - Wendy Kay Nix; one Son - Todd Eric Nix; and one Sister - Elwanda Roberts.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
