Mr. James O. Swann of Bremen Alabama passed away on July 29, 2011 at his residence at the age of 68. He was born on August 22, 1942 in Cullman to Olen and Irene Baker Swann. He worked as a truck driver for Good Hope Construction. He is preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter: Ashley Tyson.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday July 31, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Johnson Grove Methodist Church. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Rev. Johnny Freeman and Rev. Tommy Graves will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors are: his wife of 50 years: Jeanette Farr Swann, 2 daughters: Linda Swann and Phyllis Wise, 1 son: Terry Swann, 4 sisters: Weonna Pennington, Wanda Owens, Virginia James and Lisa Richey, grandchildren: Kristi Lawrence, Justin Wise, David Pigg, Victoria Pigg, great grandchildren: Colby Lawrence, Cody Lawrence.
Visitation will be on Saturday July 30, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 9;00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home.
