James Lee Wiggins, Jr.

James Lee Wiggins, Jr., age 69, of Cullman entered into rest unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at home. He was born on December 24, 1952. Mr. Wiggins was a retired police officer from both Birmingham and Warrior.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin D. Wiggins of Cullman; sons, James Kenneth Wiggins of Birmingham and Michael Ellis Wiggins of Homewood; daughter, Rebecca Leann Phillips (William Andrew “Drew”) of Homewood; stepson, Douglas Robert Mattoon (Deanne) of Venice, Florida; stepdaughter, Rebecca Clarice Marsh of St. James City, Florida; grandchildren, Alexis Wiggins, Thomasville, NC; Chloe Wiggins, Thomasville, NC; Ashley Marie Marsh of Naples, FL; Robert Lee Marsh, Jr., of Naples, FL; Parker Mattoon of Venice, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Wiggins, Sr. and Norma Jean Garner Wiggins; and his brother, Gerald Bruce Wiggins.

James’s funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from the Moss Service Funeral Home, Cullman. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm followed by his funeral service at 3 pm.
