Jeffery Scott Yerby

Jeff enjoyed spending time in nature therefore, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. Jeff was a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman. He was the vice president of Dixie Acoustical Contractors, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marvin & Elzie Yerby & Hobert & Juanita Scott.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Shara Yerby; daughter, Hannah Yerby; son, Dalton Yerby; parents: Herschel & Dianne Yerby; & sister, Tonya Freeman (Mike).

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Cullman from 2:00pm until the celebration of Jeff’s life that will begin at 4:00pm. Interment will follow in Cullman City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at UAB as well as the dedicated staff of Comfort Care Hospice. A special thanks to Kim Watts, sitter, and all the many friends and family who have called, visited, sent food and prayed over our family.
