Delane was preceded in death by his parents James Wiliam Shoemake and Bertha Viola Bates; sisters Ivaleen McMinn and Delores Bradford; brothers James Leldon Shoemake, Aaron Shoemake and Elwin Shoemake.
He is survived by his wife Sue Dyer Shoemake; son Christopher K (Monica) Wright of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law Billy Bradford; four grandchildren; and a host of beloved Nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services for Delane will be on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Flint Creek Cemetery, Vinemont, AL.
