Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph “Joe” Brock, age 63 of Cullman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Center Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Ricky Holmes and Bro. Stanley Kilgore officiating.

Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman is directing.

Joe passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born on August 20, 1949 in Cullman to the late Leonard Coy Brock and Aline Smith Brock. Mr. Brock served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard, was a member of Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church and had been working at General Dynamics for the past 36 years. He loved to fish and ride his “Harley”; when riding with his buddies, he had traveled most of North America, but one of his most beloved times was spending it with his grandson.

Mr. Brock is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Howard Brock and four brother-in-law’s, James Johnson, Lester Veal, Charles M. Easterwood and Wallace D. Easterwood.

He is survived by his Wife of 27 Years – Jo Easterwood Brock; a Daughter – Lori (Daniel) Yokley; a Grandson – Brock Daniel Yokley; four 4 – Sisters – Zula Johnson, Barbara (Theodore) Beckingham, Mary Bell Veal and Frankie Jean (John M.) Smith; a Brother-in-Law – Mitch Easterwood; Friends – Robert Roden & Brady Rogers; a Host of Nieces & Nephews; and a Special Buddy – “Taz” .

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Ponder, Mike Ponder, John Harper, Jason Smith, Jonathan Smith, James Johnson, Rodney Carden, and James Collier.
