Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph Dalton Franklin, age 66 of Cullman, will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Brashier’s Chapel Cemetery in Arab.

Mr. Franklin was born in McCalla, AL on July 9, 1944 to the late Joseph William Franklin and Rita Lively Franklin. He passed away at Princeton Baptist Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Joseph had worked as a CPA for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Stella Mae Franklin and one son, Jimmy D. Franklin.
Survivors include his Daughter – Jenny (Ray) Pierce; one Granddaughter – Cami (Keith – Fiancé) Pierce; two Grandsons – Zachary (Melissa) Pierce and Scooter Pierce; one Sister – Pat Gipson; one Daughter-in-Law – Veronica Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
