I have so many funny memories of Levi. One night when we were all 14 I had a a few close friends over to spend the night. "Somebody" had the bright idea to sneak my dad's running around vehichle, that was a red dodge neon, out for a joy ride. We didn't want to crank it close to the house in case it woke my parents up. So we proceeded to push it down the driveway in neutral until I could jump in and take the wheel and crank it. We rolled it down the steep driveway and I barely got in time before it rolled into the creek. Hahaha! So we took off to Emily St. John's house. We get there and while the 4 of us were making our way up Bills driveway we heard Levi flying up and down the road pulling the parking brake, you can imagine the sound, all I could think about was how I was going to explain the car being tore up to my dad. Another funny memory I have is when me and Levi had a little too much Jack and Coke. Levi got a call from his girlfriend and was in a rush to get to her. I told Levi I needed my wallet out of his Land Rover. He said he didn't have time for it. I followed him out to the Land Rover hell bent on getting my wallet. He got in locked the doors and started rolling the windows up. I thought I could punch the glass out and it didn't work out so well in my favor. Not only did I not get my wallet but I broke my hand in the battle with the window. I ve got a scar on my right hand forever to remind me you Levi. I could go on for days. Until be meet again, see you in Paradise buddy!!!! 

Levi was a unique individual and a great coworker. I remember my husband telling me I had to meet this goofy man at work. When I finally got to meet him it was an instant friendship. He was a wonderful, goofy, caring person with a heart of gold. I wish I would have taken more time to be as good of a friend as he deserved. I will miss that infectious smile he always carried on his face. I hope he's resting high on that mountain.


I remember one of the few times we babysat Levi. We were all outside and his Uncle Neal was working in the yard and found a bee nest in the ground. As he was trying to kill the bees curious me went to see where the nest was, barefooted and of course I stepped on a bee and it stung me with everything it had. I had never had a bee sting hurt so bad and yes I cried. Levi went home and told Todd and Kerry "Nessa cied like a baby", and it was true.
Go rest high on that mountain sweet Levi. You are loved as much and will be missed. See ya later in Glory Land.

Oh me Levi,
It’s been years since I have seen or talked to you.... but one thing is true.... your smile and heart will never be forgotten... to the times when you’d come visit me and Jenna at our apartment to the late night conversations after one too many drinks.... the wisdom your old soul shared was heart warming❤️❤️ Until we meet again my friend.

I can’t begin to tell the stories of Levi...  I remember my 1st time meeting him in 1991 on our family vacation...  he was maybe 1 or 2. We all traveled as a family to gulf shores and he was a attention getter!  Cling to me as his newly found cousin. I remember him yelling in the car seat “Levi ‘Rosssey”  And again years to come at our family get together!  Always a talker! Miss you buddy already!  Always a hoss and never a hossie!  Soar high my sweet cuz!  You are among greatness now!

Levi was a great, funny, carrying young man who loved his family. We will miss you so much. I have so many great memories with Levi from collecting fossils and cool rocks at Hells Half Acre, walking and laughing with him and my girls this summer, beach times, melting ants at dad's when we were young, phone calls of support from him and for him, him holding my inconsolable daughter until she fell asleep in his arms, his giant heart and so many more. His laugh would light up my heart. We love you so much and will join you in heaven some day. I look forward to seeing you again for an eternity without pain in the arms of our Lord. 

I’m not sure where to begin, my heart shattered today. Levi was one of the best guys I’ve known.  He had the biggest and sweetest heart! I went to my first “date” with him at our friends party in middle school, a dance together, we got to sit front row at 3 doors down and breaking Benjamin in high school.... many more memories with him and his precious family growing up through school. Levi rode with me to Decatur one day shortly after my mom passed away so I wouldn’t have to be alone that day, that’s how sweet his heart is. 
I will always love and cherish you Levi and I love you Kerry & family! 


We taught Levi in Sunday School for several years throughout his early teen and teen years. Such fond memories of the fun we had in those classes, along with some deep discussions about the Lord. Levi was a dear, funny soul and we enjoyed him so much. My heart is broken for Kerry, Johnnie, and Luke and the rest of his family. One thing that I know, is that Levi knew Jesus.
