Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred A. Parker, age 87, of Cullman, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, with Bro. Doyle Bullard officiating.
Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Parker was born April 9, 1923 to Herman C. Bryant and Alice Brisco. She passed away on October 12, 2010 at Summerford Nursing Home.
She was a member of 4th Street church of Christ, had worked at Cullman Lingerie for a number of years and ran a daycare in her home. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James O. Parker and one daughter-in-law, Linell Parker.
Survivors include her three Daughters – Diana (Donald) Jackson; Barbara (Leland) Sandlin and Tammie Maddux; one Son – David N. Parker; eight Grandchildren; twenty Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010.
