Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Vanzandt Camp

Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Camp, age 85 of Cullman, will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Welti Cemetery, with Bro. Randy Sellers officiating.

Mrs. Camp passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born on February 15, 1927, in Blountsville to the late Lawrence Phillip and Sarah Elizabeth Thomas Vanzandt. Nancy was a member of Welti Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she was employed at King Edwards for over 25 years, she also worked with the Benedictine Sisters for 15 years; after that her passion was taking care and playing with the grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dorsey Wayne Camp; four sisters, Sophia Woods, Ruby Cockran, Eula Bryson and Loretta Harris; two brothers, George and Herbert Vanzandt; and two brother-in-laws, Rayford Camp and Oneal Camp.

Survivors include one Daughter – Patsy (Jimmy) Boatright; two 2 – Grandchildren – Jeffery (Rhonda) Boatright and Susan (Darryl) Stapp; seven 7 – Great-Grandchildren – Breeanna (Devin) Basinger, Jordan Boatright, Mathew Boatright, Kevin (Danielle) Stapp and Jamie Stapp; one Great-Great-Granddaughter – Failyn Basinger; one Brother – David Vanzandt; one Sister-in-Law – Betty Camp; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Randy Folds, Byron Bonner, Jason Slaton, Greg Camp, Donald Vanzandt and Elvie Vest.
