Mrs. Norma Jean Chapman Miller

Funeral Services for Mrs. Norma Jean Miller, age 74 of Hanceville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview West cemetery, with Bro. Randy Booth officiating.

Jean was born in Hanceville on November 13, 1939 to the late Marlin & Agnes Lamont Chapman, she passed away on March 10, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Miller loved flowers and quilting, she was a member of the Cullman Native Plant Society; the “Nimble Thimble Quilters Club” and in her spare time was even a poet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Ray Miller; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include, her 3 – Sons – David D. Miller, Michael R. (Lisa) Miller & Phillip E. (Gina) Miller; 2 – Sisters – Ruth Fields & Marge (Ted) Edde; one Brother – David N. (Marie) Chapman; 3 – Granddaughters – Erin Miller, Terri (Brian) Cordes & Sarah Miller; and one Great-Granddaughter – Gracie Cordes

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
