I do not know you personally, but I feel the pain and frustration.. To think how many lives have been lost from non COVID related incidents all due to a shortage of ER staffing or available rooms. I myself went to ER a few days ago, because I was having trouble breathing, was almost positive it was not Covid, but our local hospital only has 2 Covid ER units, and they were both in use.. Needless to say I sat 3 hours in my car on the doorstep of ER.. By this time I was having so much trouble catching my breath and my blood pressure had skyrocketed almost to the point where I thought I was going to have a heart attack.. This could have been avoided if people would get vaccinated.. I no one tested positive ahead of me that was not. My Case/Acute bronchitis.. Do your part~help save a life.. Love and hugs to this family..

I did not know Mr. DeMonia or the family. I live in Meridian, Mississippi, the town where he took his last breath. ....It broke my heart to read about his story and know that he was here in my town having to fight for his life. It makes no sense to me that he had to endure such a time lapse as they searched for an ICU bed for his heart condition. It is beyond heartbreaking...May the family know that many strangers care and are praying for them. I thank them for their bravery in sharing his story to help and protect others. I can't explain how our society has become so selfish , but I, for one, will continue to care about others (receiving the vaccines and masking) - to help people like him who lived his whole life thinking of others May God bless his family. 🙏🏼

I only have good memories of growing up with Ray, David and Denise. Always a smile on Ray's face. Praying God's peace and comfort for all of you especially Patricia and Raven. It's not goodbye, rather until we meet again. So many will be waiting for him at heaven's gates.

My heart is breaking tonight having just learned of the circumstances of Ray's death and the difficulties his family has been forced to face due to hospitals being filled to overflowing with unvaccinated Covid patients. Thank you to Ray's family for having the courage in the midst of your grief to tell your story and encourage everyone to get vaccinated. I wish I could have known Ray. It is evident that he was a great husband, father, and member of his community. May you be comforted and uplifted by wonderful memories , as well as by messages of love and encouragement from all of us across this country who are also saddened by the circumstances of Ray's death.
