Rick was preceded in death by his father Vernon Alvis Blakely; mother Iva June Allen Blakely; and grandson, Nathan James Watson.
Rick is survived by his daughters Aly (Joey) Watson and Andrea Blakely; former wife, Patsy Sharpton Blakely; sister Charlotte Blakely; niece Katie (Jeremy) Stidham; nephew Andy Weldon; grandchildren Blakely Creel, Hadley Creel, Dayton Creel and Lucas Watson; and step-Grandchildren Elizabeth Watson and Micah Watson.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday February 7, 2026 from 1-2:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Methodist Cemetery following the visitation.
