Mr. Roger Barnett

Funeral Services for Mr. Roger Don Barnett, age 60 of Cullman, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Flint Creek cemetery, with Rev. Elijah Grey III officiating.

Roger was born on January 16, 1954 in Cullman, to the late, Leroy & Lenora Cadle Barnett, he passed away on February 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Barnett had been employed with Neely Coble for the past 38 years as their Body Shop Manager. He enjoyed going on trips to the mountains, and cooking with Jan. He was a true “family man” and loved being with his family and grandkids. Roger’s favorite quote “Keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Barnett; and his mother –in-law, Fay Howard.

Survivors include, his Wife – Jan Howard Barnett; one Daughter – Angela (Blake) Puckett; one Son – Shane Barnett; one Sister – Linda (Sam0 Mooney; and 5 – Grandchildren – Brandon Barnett, Breanna Barnett, Mackenzie Puckett, Brock Puckett & Hunter Puckett; Father-in-Law - Bill Howard and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Other Family & Friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
