Samuel M. Lackey

Mr. Samuel M. Lackey of the Bethel Community passed away on April 26, 2012 at his residence at the age of 81. Mr. Lackey was born in Moulton Alabama on August 14, 1930 to Robert and Lue Ellen Ferguson Lackey. He was a veteran of The United States Army and worked as a auto mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters. He was a devoted and much loved husband, father, grandfather (Dado).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 28, 2012 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Michael Jones officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at Bethel.

Survivors are: Wife: Ardell Partridge Lackey, 1 Daughter: Teresa Lackey, 2 Sons: Terence (Tammy) Lackey, Terry (Cindy) Lackey, 1 Brother: Montgomery Lackey, 1 Sister: Gladys Partridge, 7 Grandchildren: Shane Fowler, Stacey McLain, Adam (Ashley) Lackey, Annie (Jeremy) Harris, Jessica (Robert) Whitmore, Renee (Brent) Stinson, Lyndsey Lackey, 8 Great Grandchildren: Seth Fowler, Savannah Fowler, Trey McLain, Case Harris, Hagen Harris, Mika Lackey, Briar Lackey and Lewis Whitmore, A host of nieces and nephews .
