Sharron Knight Askea

Sharron Knight Askea, 75, passed away on June 5, 2013 at home in Cullman, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Charles Askea and parents, Cyril & Cloie Knight. She is survived by her children, Denise Askea Holmes, Larry Timothy Askea, grandchildren, Sarah & Chloe Askea and sister, Genna Thorn. Sharron leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors to cherish her memory, including longtime special friends, “Jo” Burrow, Thelma Harris and Betty Smith.

Sharron graduated from Cullman High School in 1956 and worked for many years at the Cullman Housing Authority and the City of Cullman.

Visitation will be held on June 7th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Moss Service Funeral Home in Cullman. A graveside “Celebration of Life” service will be held on June 8th at 11:00 am at Valley Springs Cemetery in Cullman.

Pall Bearers will be Gary Deloach, Harry Dean Speegle, Jacob Knight, Mitch Baker, Daniel DeLoach and Jason Feller. Honorary Pall Bearers are Jerry

Deloach, Britton Knight, Rodell Knight, Junior Speegle and Lindy Speegle.
