Funeral services for Shirley Faye Cook, 65, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Kevin White officiating, with burial in Bangor Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cook died Tuesday, May 10, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born Sept. 20, 1945, to Joe Wheeler and Elvie Ena Bradley Cook. She was a waitress.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Haynes, Anita Haynes and Deborah (Ken) Beasley; two brothers, Rev. Joe Cook and Gene Cook; a sister, Sue Hosmer; four grandchildren, Rocky (Sharon) Isbell, Jessica (William) Hall, Jerrard Weissend and Adam Ray (Ashley) Beasley; a Great-grandchild, Nevaeh Isbell; and the father of her children, Billy Joe Haynes.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
