She is survived by her husband, Cecil Lavern Richards; sons: Shawn Lavern Richards and Tony Ray (Bridgett) Richards; daughter, Cheryl Murphey; sister, Margie Hill; 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Shirley's life will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Valley View Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.
