Mr. Filyaw passed away at Cullma Regional Medical Center on January 11, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents: J.C. & Mamie Filyaw, brother: Colonel Ward Filyaw and daughter: Tena Filyaw.
He is survived byhis wife of 58 years, Jean Filyaw, two daughters: Sheree (Greg) Steele, Tammy (Bruce) McAlpine
brother: Wallace Filyaw and five grandchildren: Carrie (Kalen) Adams, Jake Filyaw, Layla Steele, Joy (Joey) Duncan
Nick (Melissa) McAlpine,six great grandchildren: Alyssa Adams, Chloe Adams, Jaycie Filyaw, Tucker Williams,
Chase Duncan, Matthew McAlpine and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers: Jake Filyaw, Kalen Adams, Gabe Pearce, Jeremy Simmons, Nick Bates and Tyler Williams.
Visitation will at Moss Service Funeral Home Sunday night from 6:00 PM untill 9:00 PM
