Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Elizabeth Smith, age 95 of Logan will be 10 am. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Sardis cemetery at Trimble, Rev. Gary Waddell officiating.
Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Marshall Co. Alabama October 26, 1919 to Janeral C. and Beulah Blackmon Brock. She was a homemaker and stay at home mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Frederick E. Smith, daughters; Shirley A. Couch and Vera S. Hollingsworth, sons; Norvil Smith and Daniel F. Smith, sister; Mamie B. Albright and brothers; Lewis, J.C., Roy, Paul and Curtis Brock.
Survivors include five daughters; Clovis D. (Frank) King, Earlene (James) Bozle, Geneva Stewart, Linda (Wendell) Hutson and Glenda Slaton, sons; Gail (Faye) Smith and their children Kent and Chris, Earl T. Smith, sister; Ruby D. Albright, nineteen grandchildren and great grandchildren too many to number.
