Funeral Services for Mrs. Vena M. White, age 83 of Hanceville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery with Dr. David McGowan and Bro. Jimmy Sawyer officiating.
Mrs. White passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 30, 1928 in Cullman to the late Bernard and Hattie McCoy Sharp.
Survivors include her Husband - Mr. Leon White; one Son - Ronny (Judy) White; two Sisters - Doris (Bob) Best and Linda (Buddy) Whitaker; three Brothers - Billy (Ruth) Sharp, Donald (Carolyn) Sharp and Allen (Barbara) Sharp; two Grandchildren - Patrick (Christa) White and Jennifer (Bobo) Taylor; and four 4 - Great-Grandchildren - Raylyn Ayers, Jenson Ayers, Tyler White and Braxton White.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
