

Beverly Browning Miller, 66, son of the late Judge Burnett Miller, Jr. and Virginia Fray Miller passed away, July 21, 2011 at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Salem, VA. Throughout his life he struggled with mental illness before developing lung cancer, which eventually took his life. His long battle is now over and peace finally be thine, Bev.
In his younger years, because his father was at war and his mother deceased, Beverly was raised by his aunt and uncle, the late Judge and Mrs. Charles E. Reams, Jr. of Culpeper.
He is survived by his brother, Judge Burnett Miller, III and his wife Nancy Holland Miller; his step-sister, Mrs. John W. Goering; his two nieces, Amy and Melissa Miller; his nephew, Burnett Miller, IV; his cousins, Robert Morton Miller, Jackson Lee Fray, III, Mrs. Roberts Fray Carey, Mrs. Molly Fray Sanford, Mr. Preston Cocke Fray, Mr. Jackson Miller Bruce and Mrs. Kitten Stearns.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, Route 522, north of Culpeper (Sperryville Pike).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, any mental illness charity or a charity of your own choosing.
