Daniel Francis Trementozzi joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 2, 2021, after a full life of 87 years. He was born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Stephanie Wild Trementozzi, their five children—Daniel (Amber) Trementozzi, David (Emily) Trementozzi, Maria (Joe) Tarasuk, Tina (Marc) Santom, and Liz (Frank) Krause, as well as eight grandchildren, and his faithful canine companion, Bart.
Dan served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was proud to be one of the first Peace Corps volunteers, serving in Sierra Leone, Africa. After his time overseas, he worked for 36 years in the Department of Labor as a job training grants auditor. Following retirement, Dan enjoyed spending time with family, friends in the Silver Club, and his best buddy Bart.
Dan was a man of strong faith, integrity and conviction who loved to give to those around him. He had a heart to help others and loved to put people at ease with his warm smile and humor. We will miss his “punderful” jokes and witty comebacks. As Dan would often say, “Remember who you are and what you stand for….and eat your spinach!”
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org, in Daniel's memory.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.clore-english.com for the Trementozzi family.
