Derrick Shawn Reed, age 23, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at the UVA Culpeper Hospital. Derrick was born August 15, 1994, to Roy J. Reed and Sharon D. Dover in Culpeper, VA. He was a loyal Redskins fan and had a special love for his family.
Derrick is survived by his parents, his brother, Jordan Reed, his sister, Isabella Reed,his grandparents, Roy and Annis Reed, Frank Dover, Karen Dover, his aunts, Tracey Dover and Priscilla Reed and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
