Donna Lou Byers

Donna Lou Byers, 71, of Reva, VA passed away at UVA Medical Center Saturday, June 7, 2014. Donna was born to Boyd F. Martin and Hazel Fisher Martin in West Virginia Nov. 29, 1942. She was married to the late Robert M. Byers and once worked as office manager of Musselman Construction. She loved family, gardening, the beach, and visiting historical sites. She also enjoyed volunteering with S.A.F.E and the Flamingo Ladies.

Surviving her are her children, Paula D. Byers of Culpeper, VA, Jeffrey S. Byers and his wife Emily of Aroda, VA and G. Nicole Byers of Stanardsville, VA; her grandchildren, Derek Byers, Cassaundra Byers, Andrea Byers and Ayden Byers; her siblings, Arnold L. Martin (Karen) of Red House, WVA, Hilda A. Somerville (Steve) of Buffalo, WVA, Rita P. Martin of Hurricane, WVA and Lisa A. Holestein (Cal) of Rio Grande, OH. She is also preceded in death by her parents and brother Carl O. Martin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with interment in the Culpeper National Cemetery. Pastor Brad Hales will conduct the service. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
