Elizabeth Ann Rudy

Elizabeth Ann Ruffner Rudy, age 83, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Ann was born May 20, 1929, in Warrenton, VA, to Preston B. Ruffner and Edna Maude Gouldthorpe. She was a member of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, loved golfing, and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving Ann is her husband, Merl Edward “Buddy” Rudy, Jr. of Culpeper, her daughter, Joan R. Ferlazzo of Dumfries, VA, her son, John P. Rudy of Culpeper, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, a daughter, Ellen Rudy Clore, precedes her in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Rev. Horace Douty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow services in the Culpeper National Cemetery, new grounds.
